WEB Ticket Reservation

Validity of the ticket is five days after exchange for WEB ticket at ticket window.

Please do not apply for groups by travel agencies.

Reservations for October and November will be on sale starting at 4:00 pm on 1st October.

It might take some time to exchange for a WEB ticket at station if many visitors coming because there is only one window for WEB ticket.

During peak season, please come to the window 30 minutes before your boarding time to complete exchanging 15 minutes before.

For first time customers

Web ticket reservation is a ticket reservation site provided by Tateyama Kurobe Kanko Co., Ltd.
You can reserve tickets for the desired date in advance.

Reservations can be made for the boarding time of the cable car leaving Tateyama station .

Or Reservations can be made for the boarding time of the trolley bus leaving Ogizawa station.

For round trip reservation, the time of the return trip cannot be specified.


  • Reservation can be made for up to 14 persons.
  • Reservation for 15 or more persons is treated as a group. Click "Contact Us".
  •  * There is no charge for children under elementary school age.
  • Reservations are acceptable until 11:59 a.m. on the day before.
  • Reservations for ticket from 15th April to 30th June become acceptable from 1st March.
  • Reservations for ticket from 1st July to 4th November become acceptable from 1st June
  • Example
    • the ticket for 25th April is bookable from 12:00 p.m. on 1st March to 11:59 a.m. 24th April.
    • the ticket for 1st August is bookable from 13:00 p.m. on 1st June to 11:59 a.m. 31th July.
  • It's the reservation for just boarding, NOT seat reservation.
  • You can also buy tickets on the day at each stations.

From reservation to boarding

Making reservations

* Make your Web ticket reservation here.

  1. Enter your email address from the Web ticket reservation window.
    * At this point, please read the Terms of Service and check "I agree".
  2. A URL to make a "Web Ticket Reservation" will be sent to the address you entered.
  3. Access the URL in the email to open the "Web Ticket Reservation" form.
    Select the desired ticket, enter the number of persons and click "Next".
  4. The Select date and train window appears. The available trains are displayed.
    Click the "Reserve" button for the desired train.
  5. The Enter customer information window appears.
    Enter your customer information and click "Next".
  6. The Confirm reservation window opens. Check the payment amount and other details.
    If the information is correct click the "Entered information is correct. Enter payment information." button.
    The Enter credit card information window appears.
    If you want to change your reservation, click the "Change ticket type or number of persons" button.
    The Select ticket type or number of persons window appears once more.
  7. Enter your credit card information and click the "Enter security code" button.
  8. Enter your security code and click the "Confirm" button.
  9. Confirm your entry and click the "Reserve" button.
    If you have registered your 3D Secure password, your card company's password input window appears.
    Enter your 3D Secure password and click the "Send" button. Your reservation is complete.
    If your card is not a 3D Secure card, click the "Reserve" button to complete.
  10. The "Thank you for your reservation." window appears.
  11. Click the "Print" button to display and print the "Message from the Web Ticket Office".
  12. This completes your reservation.

Check reservation details

Details of your reservation will be sent to the address you entered.
Please check the content and boarding date.

Change Reservation

You can change only the number of guests until 11:59 a.m. on the day before your boarding date.
In case of other changes, please cancel the original reservation and make a new one.

You can change only the number of guests and the boarding time at the counter in departure station on the day, but the changing fee will be charged as below.


  • Adults \ 1,000 per person
  • Children \ 500 per person
Example 1: In case of the reservation for 5 adults changed to 4 guests
 Commission amount: ¥1,000 (for one adult who was reduced)
Example 2: In case of 5 adults changed the boarding time at counter on the day
 Commission amount: ¥5,000 (for 5 adults who changed boarding time)

  • Change in the date is impossible.
    Cancellation fee (100% of fare) will be charged for the cancellation after boarding time.
  • Change in the boarding time will be possible to the available time.
Receive ticket
Please show your reservation barcode at the Web Ticket Office.

On the date of the boarding, please show something to prove your identification (such as passport) and show your reservation number at the Web ticket office.
You will receive your ticket in return.

Canceling

Cancellation is possible until 11:59 a.m. on the day before your boarding day.
There is no cancellation fee in that case.

Cancellation fee (50% of fare) will be charged if you cancelled on the website from 12:00 p.m. on the day before your boarding date to the time you getting board.

Cancellation fee (100% of fare) will be charged for the cancellation after boarding time.

We do not accept cancellations by phone.

Procedure

Please complete the procedure at least 15 minutes prior to boarding time.
Please come early because the ticket office may be crowded during peak season.
You may have to wait a while before boarding.

Payment

The payment method is a single payment by credit card.
Credit Card (the following credit cards are accepted)

Debit cards, prepaid type, chargeable credit cards, etc. can not be used.

The amount is charged the month after the month of reservation according to the membership agreement of your card company (billing cycle depends on the card company) and deducted from your account on the following or subsequent month. Please check the membership agreement of your card company for details.

<Notes>

  1. Payment method is by single payment only. (Revolving payments cannot be used.)
  2. The billing date on your credit card billing statement is the reservation date or subsequent date.

When using a 3D Secure card

Our credit card payment system is compatible with the 3D Secure (secure authentication service) credit card.

To use this type of credit card, register a password with your credit card company beforehand and enter that password during payment to prevent spoofing by a third-party. If you have registered a password for a 3D Secure credit card, click the "Purchase" button to open the password input window of your credit card company and enter the password.Then return to our reservation complete window to check the content of your application.

* If you are not using a 3D Secure credit card, click the "Purchase" button on the card verification window and check the content of your application on the reservation complete window.
